Iran was a part of India. Infact, if anyone studies the Geographical Map of the world, the Himalayan range extends to Turkey. Yes, you read that right, the mighty Himalayan range starts from Western part of Asia, running from Burma to Turkey. There is a lake called “Namak Lake” in Iran, a place called Nishapur in Iran. The Indian history is rich, so deep that unfortunately Europeans got it all wrong. Indian history that we know now is tip of the iceberg. When was Afghanistan formed ? Why were there massive statues of Lord Buddha found in Afghanistan, which happens to be next to Iran. Nishapur is a name in Iran ? The Indian empire was quite large at its peak. Chinese/Mongols never reached India, though they did manage to reach Punjab, but Delhi sultanate gave a fight, and all this is modern history. Indian culture and civilization is prehistoric, and modern era has just not done justice to what real Bharat looked like. Tibet is in Himalayan range and India had control over it too. Largest temple complex is in Cambodia, again part of prehistoric India. India, as much one dives deeper, will never cease to amaze anybody. To summarize, ranging from current day Cambodia, including Tibet and extending to Iran, it was Bharat. Test of time it is that currently very few are aware of this.
